Facility Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Grassy, Utah
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 days per week, with overtime as needed)
Compensation: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour (based on experience)

In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operations across our facility. Key Responsibilities

• Safety First: Adhere to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of equipment and parts.
• Testing & Diagnostics: Test mechanical systems post-repair to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and operational standards.
• Technical Operations: Utilize computer-based diagnostics and work order systems to complete tasks efficiently.
• Welding & Fabrication: Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to produce or repair parts as needed.
• Additional Duties: Support facility operations with various maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 1+ years of millwright or equivalent maintenance experience, or a comparable technical education background.
  • Familiarity with plant maintenance, including installations, welding, electrical, or pipefitting, is advantageous.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience in welding, hydraulic systems, and pump maintenance (experience with centrifugal and diaphragm pumps is a plus).
  • Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of handling physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and climbing.
• Licensing:
  • Possession of a clean and valid driver’s license.
