Website Designer

97Display is a data-driven digital marketing agency specializing in software-based solutions to grow local businesses. As part of that, we create lead-generating websites and digital ad campaigns for fitness and martial arts professionals. We're looking for a talented Website Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in bringing our clients' visions to life by designing compelling websites, crafting persuasive copy, and ensuring the overall success of their online presence.

This position is perfect for a detail-oriented and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client interaction, and is eager to learn new technologies. You'll need to be adaptable and able to juggle multiple design and writing projects, with significant opportunities for professional growth, including a pathway to project management roles.

What You'll Do

As a Website Designer, you'll be a key player in our implementation process. Your responsibilities will include:

Website & Graphic Design:

• Utilize both our custom 97CMS and WordPress (Divi) to design and optimize lead-generating websites, incorporating engaging layouts, custom graphics, and other multimedia elements.

• Create compelling visual content, including graphic design elements, to enhance website aesthetics and user experience.

• Perform in-build edits and other assigned tasks to refine website functionality and appearance, ensuring a polished and professional look.

Copywriting & Content Creation:

• Write effective, attractive, and SEO-driven copy for client websites that converts visitors into leads.

• Develop clear, concise, and persuasive headlines and calls to action.

• Conduct website optimization tasks to improve performance and search engine visibility through strategic content placement and keyword integration.

Client Communication & Project Support:

• Correspond professionally with clients via email to gather requirements and present design and content updates.

• Manage and prioritize a variety of client-facing tasks, including design feedback, content revisions, and time-sensitive requests.

• Ensure projects are completed accurately and on or before predetermined deadlines.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager on design, content, and edit tasks.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your web design, graphic design, and copywriting abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose professional emails and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and customers.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in both design and copy.

• Proficiency in editing, resizing, and cropping images and videos for web use.

• Ability to compose strong, industry-specific sales copy that resonates with target audiences.

• Proficiency in Digital Marketing Fundamentals: Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles, including on-page optimization strategies and keyword research. A foundational knowledge of website and graphic design principles is essential, enabling you to contribute to visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences. A grasp of best digital marketing practices will allow you to align website development with broader marketing goals.

• Highly proficient with WordPress (Divi experience preferred).

• Familiar with HubSpot, Canva, and GoHighLevel is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.

• A fast learner with a proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt in a dynamic role.
