Job Overview:
The Regional Events Manager is responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing a comprehensive events strategy that strengthens community, deepens donor relationships, and amplifies family engagement across KIPP Atlanta's 11 schools. Reporting directly to the Family Engagement & Partnerships Director this role serves as the primary events lead for the Impact team, managing logistics and strategy for fundraising events, family and community engagement events, and internal staff events. The Regional Events Manager ensures that every KIPP Atlanta event reflects the organization's mission, brand, and commitment to excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Donor Events

Design, plan, and execute all fundraising events, donor cultivation events, and stewardship experiences that advance KIPP Atlanta School’s development goals.
Partner with the Development team to align event strategy with donor pipeline priorities, sponsorship goals, and campaign timelines.
Manage all event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor contracts, catering, audio-visual production, run-of-show development, and budget oversight.
Develop post-event reporting, including attendance data, funds raised, and donor engagement metrics to inform continuous improvement.
Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure event materials, invitations, and digital promotions are on-brand and delivered on schedule.
Support the stewardship of key donors and sponsors through personalized event experiences and VIP engagement touchpoints.
Family & Community Engagement Events

Create and execute a regional calendar of family and community engagement events designed to strengthen the partnership among parents, community members, and KIPP Atlanta Schools
Create and implement Standard Operating Procedure for events across all 11 schools, ensuring consistent quality and equitable access for families in every community served
Partner with school leaders, Family Engagement Liaisons, and community stakeholders to identify event needs and co-design meaningful programming
Manage logistics for external community-facing events.
Track attendance and engagement data to evaluate impact and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Cross-Functional & Mission-Aligned Events

Provide coordination support for internal convenings One Team Celebration, Homecoming, and Leaderweek and other events that intersect with KIPP Atlanta's external mission, including leadership summits, school-based celebrations, and professional development events that include community partners, families, or donors.
Serve as a cross-functional events resource for the Impact team, collaborating with the Talent and People, Marketing and Communications, and Development teams to ensure event quality and consistency across the organization.
Co-manage the organizational events calendar to align internal and external events, avoid conflicts, and maximize community engagement opportunities.
Support vendor and event planner relationships on behalf of the Impact team, including contract coordination, site visits, and logistics management for multi-team events.
Provide on-site event support and serve as the day-of logistics lead when events carry strategic external visibility or community impact.
QualificationsJob Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience
