We anticipate the need for one or more Troubleman to be located at the Rice Street Service Center in St. Paul, MN

 
Job Responsibilities: 

  

You will be responsible for all duties of the Troubleman classification which involves the first response for overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems. The person filling this position must be self-motivated, work well with others and possess a positive attitude, and be committed to working safely, providing quality customer service, creating customer satisfaction, and working productively. 

  

NOTE: The starting pay for this position is $59.91 (2025 rate) without the shift differentials. The position will be posted for 10 working days, from April 21, 2026, to May 4th, 2026. 

  

Qualifications: 

-High school diploma or equivalent. 

-Must presently hold a Journeyman Lineman Certificate and have a working knowledge of all phases of distribution, construction, maintenance, and operating. 

-Must meet driver qualifications as specified and possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Driver's license. 

-Requires participation in after-hours emergency callouts. 

-Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude 

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

-Previous experience as a Troubleman and /or first responder experience is Desired 

-Demonstrate commitment to working productively and safely 

-Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely
