Job Summary:

The CU Medicine Weight Management and Wellness Clinic resides within the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center on the Anschutz Medical Campus and is a multispecialty clinic specializing in non-surgical physician-directed weight loss. Our Medical Providers and Advanced Practice Providers utilize lifestyle and/or pharmacological treatment options for overweight or obesity. Our clinical team also includes registered dietitians and clinical psychologists who support patients during their weight loss journeys. Our clinical services also include body composition and metabolism testing. Our clinic is a hub for obesity clinical research. Our providers aim to support patients through their weight loss and wellness journeys using a patient-centric approach.

This position is up to a .50 – 1.0 FTE and will primarily work in the clinic setting providing medical nutrition therapy for our CU Medicine Weight Management and Wellness Clinic patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered medical nutrition therapy counseling and education to our clinic patients receiving provider-directed weight management care.
• Reviewing provider notes and documentation in Epic.
• Timely completion of patient documentation in Epic and filing charges.
• Ensuring accurate charge capture and CPT coding.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO
