$24.10 - $36.15Inpatient Acute Care Rehabilitation at Carolinas Medical Center provides interdisciplinary, hospital-based care focused on early mobility, cardiopulmonary conditioning, and functional recovery for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. Exercise Physiologists are key members of the care team, delivering safe, evidence-based interventions that support recovery and improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Job Description:
Assess, plan and direct patient mobilization and exercise programs in an inpatient setting. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and facility as well as patients and families to assure a cohesive approach to patient care
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a Health/Fitness field required; prefer Exercise Physiology degree. Master's Degree preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Exercise Specialist certified by the American
