Warehouse Lead

What the Role Is

The Warehouse Lead will coordinate and participate in the receipt, storage, loading and unloading, delivery, and inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, and mail; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining and organized warehouse layout; and ensuring safe operation of vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing

(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Calling Manufactures for disputes
• Forklift experience
• Independent work and getting warehouse responsibilities completed in a timely matter
• Physically receive, stage, and inspect incoming products, and process documentation for incoming shipments.
• Pick products for location orders and stage for delivery
• Relocate products physically to warehouse storage locations and material movements with usage of scanning operations
• Follow documented procedures for warehouse, storage, and product preservation
• Physically handles cartons on incoming shipments in the staging area by breaking down and separating different product numbers on pallets
• Load truck accurately and safely for deliveries to our site locations; unload truck as needed at the warehouse and site locations and pull inventory for future deliveries.
• Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.
• Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material.
• Maintain clear isles and walkways; ensure warehouse inventory and materials are properly organized.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of warehouse and delivery trucks as needed; including cleaning the warehouse, counter area, etc.
• Assist internal and external customers, as needed.
• Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability
• Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
• Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
• Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed.
• Assist in performance of monthly physical inventories for all site locations.
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Treat internal and external customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Two – three-year experience in a warehouse environment
• ERP, Dynamics is preferred
• Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Pay Transparency

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn a weekly commission and bi-weekly retention sales bonus based on individual performance.

Hourly Range $23.00-$24.00
