Field Services Technician

Purpose of the Job

This position is intended to perform Field Services Functions at an entry level; Understands basic concepts, can perform task with guidance, asks what to do. This position requires significant direction from more experienced department personnel, including intensive review of reporting. This position will solicit approaches for performing Field Services Functions from the more experienced members of the Field Services team, and seek approval before making changes. This includes ensuring that meters are read accurately, meters are functioning properly, and customer concerns (e.g., water consumption, leaks, service connection/disconnection, and conservation) are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Work Experience

1 year working in industrial, manufacturing, or utility environment, including driving for work purposes, with some understanding of Field Services functions.
