Maintenance Engineer & Planner

Your Contribution

• Outlines in detail all requested maintenance work performed within the facility and prepares detailed estimates including labor and material needed.
• Recommends equipment, facility improvement, and cost reductions in cooperation with his supervisor.
• Creates and documents maintenance and cleaning plans for machines and equipment in SAP using JIBs and TWI.
• Investigates work requests for feasibility, and schedules for efficient labor utilization.
• Establishes and maintains documented labor time standards in SAP and maintains the SAP PM (EAM) system
• Coordinates work with originating departments, and/or other planners.
• Manages the spare parts inventory, and determines material and equipment levels needed, and insures their availability in the storeroom.
• Assesses urgency of work, and recommends priority based on safety and business needs, prepares storeroom purchase requisitions and allocates material to work orders, supports mechanical troubleshooting for systems, machines, and equipment malfunctions.
• Conducts root cause analysis and solves problems systematically and manage stocks of supplies and equipment as well as other duties.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3- 5 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
• SAP EAM (PM), TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Green Belt, Structured Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis
