Software engineer (new grad)

Online identity is the foundation of how more and more businesses operate in a world where consumer behavior, privacy, and what constitutes an individual are constantly changing. We’re building the first universal and comprehensive identity infrastructure to help businesses of all sizes manage their customers, prevent fraud, and keep personal information protected.
About the role
Our interns are full-time engineers who have a significant impact on our product and customers; they have full deploy access and push code into production from day one. You will work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes where you will design, test, and ship great code every day. The work you do will affect Persona, our customers, and their users. Throughout your time here you will be working with our engineering, design, and product team on important features, communicating with our customers, and helping us build Persona!
We keep our cohorts small to ensure every single one has dedicated mentorship and gets to work on tough technical challenges and new product ideas that happen every day at this fast-growing start-up.

What you'll do at Persona

• You have strong CS fundamentals through a current pursuit of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, math or related discipline
• You have programming experience. We work with Ruby / Rails, Typescript, React and Redux, and Python. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework
• You'll thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
• You take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
• You can excel in a fast-paced environment. Persona is an early-stage startup and we have a lot to build!
• Bachelors Degree Required
