Our fast-paced environment means we <strong>embrace change</strong>, and <strong>communicate effectively</strong>, to proactively and creatively <strong>solve problems</strong>.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>If you were to join Basis Technologies in our Senior Platform Engineer position, you can expect to:</p><ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure and platform services for our SAP BTP application.</li> <li>Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of CAP-based applications.</li> <li>Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.</li> <li>Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the platform and application infrastructure.</li> <li>Support internal teams by developing tools.</li> <li>Ensure security best practices are followed and implemented across the platform.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, SAP BTP, and Node.js.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Is this opportunity for you?</strong></p><p>To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:</p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in <strong>Cloud operations, Platform support or DevOps</strong>.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Node.js and infrastructure as code.</li> <li><strong>Business level proficiency in both English and Hungarian</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li> <li>Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (e.g., Git).</li> <li>Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SAP HANA, PostgreSQL) and data modelling.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p>Desirable Skills: </p><ul> <li>Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework.</li> <li>SAP BTP certification or relevant SAP certifications.</li> <li>Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.</li> <li>Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).</li> </ul><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>Why join us?</strong> </p><p>Aside from the benefits of role evolution, tangible individual impact and personal growth that you would expect working in a global scale up environment, at Basis Technologies we take looking out for our employees seriously. <br/><br/> We’re believers of Learning &amp; Development.
