MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.  We seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Marketing Specialist to join our team at Milgard Manufacturing. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to support our Senior Regional Marketing Representative in developing and executing various marketing strategies and campaigns within the Southern California region. The Junior Marketing Specialist will be involved in marketing activities such as creating materials, supporting events, tracking campaign efforts, and assisting in various cross-functional projects. Responsibilities

 

• Marketing Support: Assist in the production and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, digital assets, and promotional materials to support the company’s goals.
• Content Creation: Help develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and dealer communications.
• Market Research: Support the team in conducting market research to refine marketing strategies and monitor competitor activity.
• Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, community events, and other promotional activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to Milgard’s brand guidelines and messaging to maintain consistency across all channels.
• Database Management: Help maintain and update the customer database, prepare accurate mailing lists for marketing campaigns and ensure proper organization.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Regional Marketing Representative, such as preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and tracking campaign progress.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage marketing materials inventory to ensure sufficient stock is available for upcoming marketing activities and events.

Qualifications

 

• Previous experience in marketing, customer service, or a related field (e.g., sales or retail) is preferred, but not required. A strong customer first attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• High school diploma is required; an associate’s degree is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with various audiences.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with different departments and personalities.
• Basic graphic design skills (familiarity with Adobe Suite or similar tools is a plus).
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the marketing team’s success.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
