Job Description

The GMS Medical Staffing Screener and Special Projects Lead specializes in ensuring high quality medical staff are vetted and available to readily deploy to the various sites. The coordinator will develop and maintain a framework for interviews and assessments that aligns with company values and standards.

Additionally, this role will support the development of site reception, site integration, operational expectations, and exit planning to meet requirements and enhance productivity, engagement, and retention. This function is tightly integrated with the Human Resources Department and acts as the liaison between International SOS Government Medical Services, on-site management, and applicants, especially for roles that are hard to fill and require a list of special qualifications.

The special project's role will include but is not limited to the following: participating in reviewing, updating, or developing baseline standards for Inlt.SOS and Medical Services policies that ensure contract compliance and accreditation. Develop standardized protocols and tools that ensure compliance and that work with an on-site team’s ability to adapt requirements locally and facilitate operational execution. Project coordination and management of planned and unplanned projects based on regional risk management assessments and needs.

During special assignments, the incumbent will report directly to the Director for Clinical Operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, risk management practices, project management, and the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams. Successful candidates for this position will possess excellent critical thinking skills and candidness that enable a balance of capacity, and on-site program needs, in correlation with the overall contract requirements.

This position is primarily remote; however short duration site visits or deployments may be required based on project needs.
