Guidehouse is looking to hire a Program Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in the Bethesda MD area. This will require working on site one day a week in Bethesda.

We are looking for a candidate that will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist program leads on initiatives including IT requirements assessment and development; user acceptance testing; workflow development; SharePoint maintenance; MS Teams development; and support with emerging technology assessment, requirements gathering, development and implementation.

  • Develop and implement stakeholder communication and training using a variety of communication tools, including PowerPoint, Articulate and other emerging technology.

  • Assess program processes and additional data to improve the program specific systems, policies and procedures; process submissions for clearance and approval; provide services, communications, and reviews to stakeholders; develop and maintain updated internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance and streamline functional areas.

  • Handle and resolve complex and/or unusual problems and emergency situations in a professional manner as they arise; work with staff to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative operations; develop expeditious and efficient methods to solve problems

  • Perform detailed reviews of program areas’ correspondence and other official documents to ensure procedural and grammatical accuracy, accessibility, proper format, and conformance to established policies, SOPs, and templates.

  • Assess program processes and additional data to improve the program specific systems, policies and procedures; process submissions for clearance and approval; provide services, communications, and reviews to stakeholders; develop and maintain updated internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance and streamline functional areas

  • Organize meetings and conferences; invite attendees; coordinate audio/visual and accessibility requirements; coordinate teleconferencing; confirm speakers/presentations; prepare and disseminate agendas, handouts and other required documents; prepare and consolidate notes, action items and follow-up as requested, including partnering with senior leadership to guide, train and update, stakeholders.

  • Work with staff or take lead, as assigned, on special projects that involve research, analysis and written recommendations; monitor shared program areas’ email inboxes and respond to queries, as appropriate; update and maintain information in workflow tracking lists; create and maintain project plans; provide updates of status changes.

  • Collect, analyze and organize relevant qualitative and statistical evaluation information and program information to prepare clear and effective reports

  • Prepare multi-media presentations and summary reports.

  • Manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively both written and verbally, and work independently and with a team.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience.

  • Experience assessing and developing requirements documentation, developing workflows and user acceptance testing.

  • Proficiency with SharePoint development and maintenance, and MS Office 365, including use of Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Project Management.

  • Working knowledge of federal records management requirements and programs.

  • Experience developing employee training using a variety of training methods and materials, including online options, desk references, guidebooks, presentations, and examples/templates. 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Working knowledge of Articulate or similar eLearning-authoring program to develop training modules.

  • NIH experience
