Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Office of Faculty Development within the Department of Pathology and Immunology, contributing to the advancement of faculty initiatives and academic excellence. This position is essential in supporting faculty development programs, managing high-level projects, and coordinating events that foster faculty growth. Responsibilities also include overseeing communications and providing administrative support to enhance the department’s commitment to innovative research, education, and diversity.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide program/project support for faculty development and academic activities, ensuring alignment with department goals.
- Coordinate and oversee complex projects, including faculty diversity initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Manage departmental operations such as personnel records, faculty appointment documentation, and other administrative processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Handle confidential or sensitive faculty-related information and manage correspondence on behalf of faculty leaders.
- Draft and finalize letters, emails, newsletters, event schedules, and other official communications related to faculty development.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, workshops, and faculty development events, managing all details including vendors, venues, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines.
- Support fiscal activities related to the program, including drafting annual budgets, tracking expenditures, and managing faculty funding requests.
- Assist with scheduling faculty courses, classrooms, and other academic resources as needed.
- Maintain databases related to faculty records and development programs; respond to inquiries from faculty, trainees, and staff.
- Provide administrative support for high-level faculty appointments, reviews, and tenure processes.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling complex calendars, coordinating faculty travel, and arranging engagements for leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

$23.37 - $36.19 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
