Job Summary:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an undergrad student with preferred majors in Cybersecurity or Information Security. This position may be fully remote, though a hybrid model where the intern comes into the office 2-3 times a week to work with the project manager will also be permissible.

The work schedule is Monday – Friday (40 hour per week). This is a 10-week paid internship. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour depending on the candidate's education.

What You Will Do:

The intern will be assisting on IT examinations including the planning, scoping, on/off site, and vetting processes. The goal will be for the intern to understand the end-to-end examination process where their technical skills will be leveraged with relevant assignments when possible (e.g. logical and physical security reviews).

We will provide the intern with all the relevant training to set them up for a successful internship experience. They will complete all foundational supervisory training like Fed Foundations, Business of Bank Supervision to build core supervisory perspective.  Foundational IT training courses where appropriate will also be assigned to support the intern’s success in field assignments.

What You Have:

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or another related major preferred

Preferred Competencies:

  • Well-developed written, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with agility in a team-based environment

Other Requirement: This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, which is limited to “Protected Individuals” as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. permanent residents who either are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization or who have applied for naturalization within the requisite timeframe.
