Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or Mountain View (South Bay)
In this role, you will lead a team of strategic finance professionals that operate as connective tissue across LinkedIn LOBs and Marketplaces. Your team sits at the intersection of our respective LOBs and Marketplaces, where you will focus on developing xLOB Monetization strategy, driving consolidated reporting, and delivering clear, crisp, and concise materials that go to LinkedIn’s Executive Team and the Microsoft Senior Leadership Team. In this role, you will:
- Work across the Monetization Strategic Finance team – partnering across lines-of-businesses, functions, and segments – to develop Monetization growth strategies and unlock GTM operational efficiencies for LinkedIn
- Partner with the R&D and Central Strategic Finance teams to communicate insights, analyses, reporting, and broader Monetization recommendations to the LinkedIn Executive Team
- Build and deliver consolidated Monetization reporting views for the LinkedIn Executive Team and Microsoft Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors
- Partner with xFN teams across Sales Ops and Central Strategic Finance teams to build and evolve our Monetization planning rhythm and deliverables
This is a matrixed role, with business partners and stakeholders across the Finance, Sales, HR, Marketing, and R&D organizations.
Responsibilities
- Within the current view of our identified TAM / addressable markets, identifies levers / drivers and makes novels strategic recommendations for Monetization growth that cut across LinkedIn LOBs and Marketplaces
- Leverages insights, data, internal/external trends, and narratives to influence and impact decision making with xFN stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Creates consolidated, standardized reporting and foundational data sets to synthesize problems, communicate points of view, and impact decision-making tied to strategic questions that span LinkedIn LOBs and Marketplaces
- Leads and develops multiple complex workstreams, projects, or operational processes (e.g. QBRs, Long-Range Plans) that span LinkedIn LOBs and Marketplaces
- Drives the delivery of data architecture – including maintaining and updating models and forecasts – used to execute ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address business questions
- Oversees coaching and providing actionable, concrete project-oriented feedback (after a meeting, end-of-project review) to colleagues and/or partners and invites upward feedback.
- Identifies and supports opportunities for people development, movement and transformation across the team and company.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND a minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 9 years of people management experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the technology industry.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $207,000 to $337,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
