Surgical Services Cust. Rep - PRN (64541)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for greeting patients, families, and visitors upon arrival to the Surgical Services Waiting room and referring them to the appropriate area. Facilitates departmental communication. Maintains correct patient schedule and keeps family members informed of patient’s progress. Assist with assembly of patient records and other clerical duties as assigned. Performs a variety of basic computer skills and demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, Power point, and Publisher. Performs duties of backup scheduler in ORMIS and back-up administrating clerical duties for surgical services as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Licensure: None required. Nursing back round preferred

Experience: Prior experience in same or similar position is desirable. Background in surgical services is preferred.
