Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), PRN/On Call

Providence at Home is a growing division of Providence Life Services, which provides a continuum of healthcare, focused on senior living. Providence Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) PRN/On-Call in Homer Glen, IL. This position will require the RN to work Evenings/On-Call and will work Monday - Thursday.

Summary of essential job functions:

• The role will be reimbursed with a set rate and paid per diem when a visit(s) is indicated, or an evening admission is necessary.
• Hours and Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 4:00PM – 8:00AM.
• Pay: $200/week plus per diem visits.
• Supportive and welcoming work environment.
• This role has an opportunity to increase earnings with occasional PTO coverage support as well.
• We have a dedicated Weekend RN.
• This role would also join in our on-call rotation as a back up to the dedicated weekend RN, about 1x every 5 weeks.
• Provide skilled nursing care.
• Travel to patients wherever they reside: Home, nursing facility etc..
• Mileage reimbursement ($.70/mile)

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Illinois.
• At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in Hospice or Home Health.
• Drivers License in good standing.
