Remote Position!

The Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) Medical Clerk supports the Care Team by acting as a liaison between the providers, Millennium MRA Team and insurance carriers. S/he is responsible for both pre and post visit data collection, communication and documentation of accurate patient information. The MRA Medical Clerk coordinates the completion of carrier attestation forms, supporting documentation or other documents are submitted to the specific carriers through established workflows in a timely manner post visit. This will allow MPG and our carriers to have the most current and accurate reflection of the patient's medical status and eliminate HCC Gaps due to un-submitted documentation. The MRA Medical Clerk with utilize daily schedules, carrier website, forms, fax/scanners etc. to complete daily tasks while maintaining HIPAA privacy restrictions. All other duties as assigned.

Job Standards:

• Must be Medical Assistant-Certification preferred
• Completes all clerical tasks timely/daily
• Ensures accurate completion of required forms with periodic audits showing no errors in documentation
• Communicates trends/issues identified with processes, carriers or provider responses
• Demonstrates competency with computers and standard office equipment
• Strong background with medical terminology
• General coding knowledge preferred
