Cash AppAbout the role
Company Description
Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment. The blocks that form our foundational teams — People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more — provide support and guidance at the corporate level. They work across business groups and around the globe, spanning time zones and disciplines to develop inclusive People policies, forecast finances, give legal counsel, safeguard systems, nurture new initiatives, and more. Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block.Job Description
The Block Brand and Purpose team mixes creative, comms, and data to build the Block brand and communicate our purpose of economic empowerment. We're curious, quirky, quick-witted designers, writers, strategists, producers, technologists, analysts, and economists who work on everything from big brand campaigns to deep data analysis.
We're looking for a production designer to help shape the visual identity of our corporate brand, Block, and support its businesses with creative work. As our first production designer, you'll lead the discipline on our team and apply your creativity, your eye, and your technical skills to the challenges of implementing design across a variety of digital deliverables. You will work with multiple teams to create visuals that reinforce our purpose, tell compelling narratives, and express our identity. No idea is too out there. You will report to the Brand Systems Design Lead.
