THE JOB

Live Oak Bank Pavilion and Greenfield Lake Amphitheater are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Operation Coordinator to join the venue team in Wilmington, NC. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-pace, friendly and inspired setting. This is not a remote position.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Works directly with the Ops Supervisor to perform day of show duties.
• Work with tour or agency to coordinate VIP Experiences that may include email coordination, ordering tents/tables/chairs, staffing, and on-site assistance to ensure everything is running smoothly.
• Keep all wayfinding signage up-to-date, order as needed.
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, leveraging market insights to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Ordering supplies, ensure proper coding, and staying within the operations budget.
• Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy.
• Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered.
• Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.
• Communicate to Manager on Duty any issues that guests or team members may have.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

• Working knowledge of high-volume amphitheater operations

• Skills in guest relations/staff relations
• Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude 
• Read guests to anticipate their needs
• Turn potentially negative situations into positive ones
• Maintain organized key cabinet and operations tools/supplies
• Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie 
• High School Diploma required

Preferred:

• Experience in a live music environment
• College diploma in related field

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
