Senior Accountant

<h2>Overview</h2> <p>We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Senior GL Accountant with a strong understanding of local/US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Dedicated to maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.</p> <p>We are building a new team, where your contributions will truly make an impact.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts accurately.</li> <li>Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.</li> <li>Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes.</li> <li>Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.</li> <li>Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.</li> <li>Performing account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.</li> <li>Supporting external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations.</li> <li>Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.</li> <li>Communicating effectively with team members and management.</li> <li>Supporting and leading subordinate GL Accountants.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience within the GL department.</li> <li>Big4 experience will be a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.</li> <li>Experience with MS D365 will be a plus.</li> <li>Advanced English level B2/C1.</li> <li>Other European languages will be a strong advantage.</li> <li>Experience in process transitions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><em>IDC, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
