Job Description

We are looking for a temporary, part-time, Laboratory Support / Courier to support our Tustin and Pomona locations. Candidates must have a personal, registered vehicle and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.

Laboratory Support / Courier is responsible for delivering client sample packages from client sites to Eurofins laboratory locations as well as between Eurofins locations in the larger LA County area.  Receiving and login duties include ensuring that all samples are logged in in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.  The personnel must maintain an open line of communication with Project Managers, Analysts and other management staff.

• Deliver samples from client sites and between Eurofins locations
• Receive and open packages
• Login of all samples in a timely manner
• Label all samples
• QC of samples/projects prior to sending into the laboratory
• Maintain open lines of communication clients and internal staff alike
• Forward specific project related information to the appropriate PM
• Other related duties

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• HS diploma or G.E.D. 
• Valid Driver's License
• A registered vehicle in good operating condition and a clean driving record for the past 3 years

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

• Good Typewriting skills

• Good communication skills

• Must have the ability to multitask

• Attention to detail 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Sample Receiving preferred

Additional Information

Compensation range: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience 

Position is temporary and will work every day of the week, 7pm - 12am, Monday - Sunday with hours that vary and length to be determined.
