Your Impact
As the Senior Director of Information Technology, you will serve as a strategic driver of digital transformation across all facets of Next Health’s business. This hybrid leadership role will shape the organization’s technological foundation, oversee full-stack development, strengthen cybersecurity, and elevate customer-facing digital experiences. Your leadership will directly impact how our members engage with their health and how our teams deliver best-in-class services across multiple locations.Job DescriptionThe Senior Director of IT will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Marketing, and Innovation. You will be responsible for shaping our digital ecosystem—from mobile app enhancements and backend infrastructure to member experience design and data security. This role is primarily remote, with periodic on-site days at our West Hollywood, CA headquarters.
What to Expect / What You’ll Do
Technology Strategy & Digital InnovationDefine and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goalsLead the architecture of scalable, secure, cloud-native systems across web, app, backend, and APIsDrive technology modernization through adoption of microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practicesChampion full-stack engineering and agile product development focused on innovation and performance
Mobile & Digital Experience LeadershipOversee the continuous development and optimization of the Next Health mobile appLead UX/UI strategy and design execution across digital touchpoints, ensuring intuitive, brand-consistent experiencesCollaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features, including personalization and automationEnhance digital member tools for onboarding, booking, service tracking, and engagement
Cybersecurity & ComplianceDesign and manage an enterprise-level cybersecurity strategyEnsure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable data privacy regulationsConduct routine security audits, threat assessments, and incident response exercises
Team Leadership & Vendor ManagementBuild and lead a high-performing, agile technology teamDefine clear roles, KPIs, and development paths that align with company goalsManage key vendor and technology partner relationships to drive performance and cost efficiency
Business Continuity & Project OversightDevelop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plansLead cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budgetCreate and manage the IT roadmap with quarterly and annual milestones
What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)Minimum of 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in high-growth environmentsExpertise in full-stack architecture, mobile app development, and digital UX/UIStrong command of cloud-native platforms, API-first design, and DevOps methodologiesDeep knowledge of cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and secure coding practicesExperience working with multi-location service businesses or franchise models preferredProven success building and leading high-performance technology teamsExecutive presence and ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership
