Together, we will become the world's leading cancer reference laboratory. Position Summary: As a Sr. Software Support Engineer you will support enterprise laboratory systems including enhancement and support using core technologies, including C# .Net, and Java. This role is focused ensuring the proper operation of core systems, the implementation and roll out of new features and the quality and timeliness of engineering and development team work.  Responsibilities:

• Serves as lead on small to mid-sized solution teams.
• Responsible for maintaining solution integrity
• Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching to other team resources
• Responsible for the implementing multi-layered software architecture design changes, technical design, creation of, and assignment of development tasks
• Responsible for developing and following project schedules, plans, status reporting and timelines
• Design and conduct training plans for end-users.

 Position Requirements:

• Masters’ or graduate degree in computer science or information technology, computational biology or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software support, Laboratory, Medical or health care environment a plus.
• Knowledgeable of and have demonstrable experience in C# .NET development of Windows client applications, Web services/Web API, and Windows services.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. 
• Experience with version control systems (git, vsts, svn).
• Experience working on teams and developing large scale applications.
