As an Industrial Engineer you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency through data-driven insights. We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with expertise in manufacturing processes to optimize labor, material flow, and product cost analysis. The candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, managing data alignment, and ensuring the accuracy of bills of materials (BOM) using Oracle-based systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize manufacturing labor and material flows by identifying bottlenecks through line balancing, time studies, and material flow evaluations.
- Ensure accurate data alignment with defined processes, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain production controls, inventory accuracy, and BOM integrity.
- Proactively manage inventory data by running health reports, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments in Oracle systems.
- Support new product introductions by integrating product mix evaluations into data systems for seamless production transition.
- Drive continuous cost improvement by conducting cost analyses and aligning with process changes, new product developments, and sourcing changes.
- Collaborate with the GBSC Data Team to maintain calculators, manage engineering change releases, and ensure data integrity during production transitions.
- Strong experience with Oracle data management in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze and optimize data flows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production systems.
- Proficient in BOM management, product cost analysis, and new product introduction processes.
- Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Enhance BOM accuracy and shop-floor execution.
- Build and standardize engineering process controls for data accuracy.
