This is a full-time Outpatient position at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest, concentrating on Orthopedics.  You will be cross-trained in acute care.  Bonus Eligible*

Join the inpatient rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as a Physical Therapist, working at a Level 1 Trauma and certified Stroke Center. Collaborate with a dynamic team to treat diverse cases, while delivering compassionate care to our local community. The ideal candidate will empathize with patients and contribute to providing exceptional care. 

The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations, assessments, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 regulations.

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • Licensed as a PT in the State of California OR License Pending (Must have license in hand before start)
  • Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience:

  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
  • At least one year of experi
