Job Description

The New Store Opening (NSO) Visual Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in driving the success of new retail locations by ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s visual standards. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of visual merchandising strategies during new store openings. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about creating visually compelling spaces that enhance the customer experience and align with the brand’s identity. 

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

New Store Openings:

• Lead end-to-end visual merchandising for new stores, from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with construction and operations to align layouts with brand standards.
• Install displays and signage that align with seasonal and promotional themes.
• Conduct pre-opening walk-throughs to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
• Ensure product presentation is visually appealing to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Keep displays fresh by staying informed on industry trends and regional preferences.
• Manage selection and placement of live greenery to enhance store aesthetics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Coordinate with store teams, planners, and corporate channels to align on merchandising strategies.
• Train in-store teams on visual standards and maintenance (virtually or in person).

Logistics & Coordination:

• Manage timelines and budgets for store openings, including tools, supplies, and fixtures.
• Track expenses to ensure budget adherence.

Travel & Flexibility:

• Extensive travel and flexible hours (weekends/holidays) as required for store openings.

Who you are: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of experience managing visual merchandising across multiple store locations and/or leading New Store Openings, with a focus on brand cohesion and impactful merchandise display. 
• Ability to implement and adapt visual merchandising directives based on constructive feedback. 
• 2+ years of expertise in fashion trends, color theory, and mannequin styling, with a proven ability to create displays that bring seasonal and thematic brand stories to life. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively. 
• Knowledge of store window execution, vinyl installation, and basic hardware/tool use for visual maintenance. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator.

The salary range for this role is $68,000 per year - $78,000 per year.
