A Day in the Life
As a Sr. Program Manager in the Diabetes Transformation Office, you have the opportunity to champion transformation, set the tone for a collaborative culture that enables continuous and sustained improvement, and lead initiatives that will unleash the full potential of the business. Your ultimate objective is to enhance the productivity of Diabetes products, services, and processes while optimizing overall business performance. A Day in the Life:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Plan, perform, and implement transformation initiatives that enhance business processes, services, systems and/or products.
Organize and lead cross-functional stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective initiative execution.
Monitor and assume accountability from initiation through delivery and utilize project and change management methodologies to enable effective execution.
Define and build the governance mechanism to actively track initiatives and change plans including schedules, budgets, resources, interdependencies, and anticipated initiative benefits.
Utilize data analysis and metrics to assess performance, identify issues, and measure the impact of transformation initiatives. Use these insights to make informed decisions, drive continuous improvement, and identify indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Communicate progress consistently, removing barriers and aligning improvements to address performance shortfalls and enhance outcomes. Foster a collaborative culture by working closely with cross-functional teams to align efforts and optimize interdepartmental processes.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume:
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience in strategic planning, operations management, process improvement, and/or transformational leadership, OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
Lean Six Sigma
Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Expertise in program and change management with a successful track record in leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex and undefined problems.
Results-oriented, focused on achieving measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and lead teams.
Understanding of financial principles to deliver financial and strategic commitments. Proven ability to deliver financial and strategic commitments.
Strong execution skills to turn strategy into tactics and results
