ASSISTANT MANAGER, SCHOOL & COMMUNITY OUTREACH (1-YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

We are searching for a dynamic and results-oriented School Outreach Assistant Manager to join our team to lead the development and execution of impactful outreach programmes to build knowledge, shape attitudes and influence behaviours among youths towards making greener transport choices.

In this role, your function will be pivotal in helping build relationships with schools across all levels, from primary to university.

[What you will be working on]
• You will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement and
outreach strategies to engage schools and youths (across all levels) on
LTA’s goals and initiatives, policies, and projects to encourage more
sustainable commutes.

• You will design, manage and implement programmes, such as workshops,
outreach initiatives such as temporary exhibitions, and content, such as
educational kits that spark interest among youths in promoting more
sustainable commutes among peers. These could include partnership with
relevant stakeholders to co-create relevant outreach programmes.

• You will coordinate outreach efforts and establish long-term relationships
with Institutes of Higher Learning, schools, teachers, as well as other
stakeholders to advance LTA’s school outreach objectives.

• You will manage and track relevant data to measure the effectiveness and
impact of LTA’s school outreach efforts. This includes utilising data to
make data-driven decisions on shaping outreach approaches and
programme development for improved student engagement.

• You will manage the tracking of school enquiries, procurement matters and
other administrative duties of the school outreach team.

[What we are looking for]

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Education, Marketing or related
fields.
• Strong problem-solving, networking skills.
• Excellent communication (both written and spoken), presentation, and
interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for education and youth development.
• Relevant experience in marketing communications, content development,
education and outreach, pedagogy design and/or stakeholder engagement
would be an advantage.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful outreach
programmes would also be considered favourably.
