ANINE BING is looking for a Regional Director to join its Retail Leadership Team based in New York, NY.

The Regional Director is the ultimate ANINE BING brand ambassador who embodies the values of the Brand, drives sales and business development, and leads by example to exceed company objectives.

The ideal candidate is experienced in developing high-performing teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize business performance and has a proven track record of success in contemporary, advanced contemporary, or luxury retail. The Regional Director is passionate about exceeding sales goals and the ability to enhance the brand's presence through strategic initiatives.

The Regional Director reports to the VP of Retail and is a key member of the HQ Retail Team.

Job Duties Include

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve sales targets, maximize revenue, and increase profitability within the region, utilizing sales data and market trends for growth opportunities.
  • Enforce operational standards and company policies across all locations, overseeing inventory, merchandising, and visual presentation to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Provide team leadership by leading recruitment, training, and development efforts for proficient store teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and a client-focused approach.
  • Maintain a client-first ethos to ensure exceptional service standards, taking measures to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management to maximize store profitability, interpreting financial reports and KPIs to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and regularly update senior leadership on store performance and strategic opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities within the region.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and communicate store performance, providing guidance and support to Store Managers to drive EBITDA results.
  • Establish and maintain the highest level of customer service standards, staying updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Proactively address areas of improvement, oversee the CRM database, and develop best practices in Clienteling and outreach.
  • Strategize and manage special events to maximize customer loyalty, new client acquisition, and increase spend.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the contemporary, advanced contemporary, or luxury market with a proven track record in driving sales, developing people, and leveraging business opportunities in a multi-store retail environment
  • Deeply rooted knowledge of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, employee relations, clienteling/CRM, events and store operations
  • Strong financial skills, including a deep understanding of retail math
  • Robust leadership capabilities and ability to balance a strategic approach while also being hands-on in overseeing day-to-day operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to remain organized and productive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Openness and availability to frequently travel to store locations locally, out of state, and internationally as needed.
  • Tech savviness and experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000, plus bonus opportunities
