About the role

We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

Working in the WW Systems Engineering Growth & Excellence team, you’ll lead business analysis work for WW Systems Engineer and Global Sales Org strategic programs. You’ll turn discovery into clear, testable requirements, design practical processes, and make sure what we ship ties back to measurable business value.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re a structured thinker with a bias for clarity, momentum, and measurable outcomes. You translate ambiguity into well-defined requirements, navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence, and elevate conversations to focus on value. You hold a high bar for operational excellence—bringing consistency, rigor, and disciplined execution to everything you touch. You move quickly, but never recklessly, balancing speed with quality so teams can make decisions faster and ship with confidence. You thrive at the intersection of process, tooling, and human adoption, and you consistently deliver work that teams trust and rely on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Working as part of change-the-business programs, you will be responsible for:

  • Requirements management: Identify and engage stakeholders; capture and organize requirements; keep a clear traceability view from requirement to test and release; manage change control and impact assessments.

  • Backlog creation & management: Turn discovery into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; keep stories small, valuable, and testable; maintain “definition of ready” and “definition of done”; trace epics → stories → tests → benefits.

  • Process & operating model design: Run workshops; map current and future process flows with swimlanes (BPMN-style process maps); define roles (RACI), controls, and handoffs.

  • Workshop facilitation: Lead cross-time-zone, multi-team sessions that end in decisions and documented actions.

  • Business requirements documents (BRDs): Write and own BRDs for system changes (e.g., Salesforce) and keep them current through delivery.

  • Testing & readiness: Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and pilot scope; align tests to acceptance criteria; run defect triage; support cutover planning, communications/training, and hypercare exit criteria.

  • Stakeholder management: Partner with SE leaders, Sales Operations, IT, Finance, Enablement, and Marketing to unblock progress and land changes.

  • Tooling: Use Asana or Jira/Confluence for backlog and workflows; Salesforce for requirement validation; Miro/Mural or Lucid/Visio for process maps.

  • Value & impact tracking: Baseline today’s metrics, define benefit KPIs, propose pilots/A-B tests where useful, and report results clearly.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Raleigh, NC office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: 5–10 years in business analysis within tech/sales/CRM environments; proven delivery across multiple teams.

  • Strategy & scope control: Comfortable framing problems, proposing options with pros/cons, testing value hypotheses, and making trade-offs; can size value at a high level.

  • Process & operating model: Strong at value-stream and capability mapping; can produce clear L2/L3 process maps with roles and controls that stick.

  • Non-functional requirements: Captures security, privacy, performance, scalability, observability, and supportability needs—and makes them testable.

  • Change & adoption: Builds UAT plans, training outlines, and cutover checklists; applies light change-management techniques to help teams adopt new ways of working.

  • Tooling depth: Hands-on with Asana/Jira/Confluence, Miro/Lucid/Visio; disciplined documentation (BRDs, RTMs, executive-ready updates).

  • Relevant domain: Has delivered in Salesforce-centric or broader CRM environments with Sales/SE stakeholders; comfortable with US privacy
