The Solutions Architect of Information Technologies is responsible for planning, designing and implementing organization wide information systems and technologies. The architect should have full development/implementation experience to design and support Stratajazz including modules like Operating Budgeting and Management Reporting, Forecasting and Financial Planning, Cost Accounting, Episode Analytics, Productivity reporting, and Continuous reporting. Other responsibilities include putting together the architecture for data integration, research, development and application of new information system technologies to support the goals of managing and operating the organization. Has implemented and owned Stratajazz in the past.
- A technology leader with ability to grasp complex customer requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions especially with Stratajazz
- Ability to articulate and explain complex issues both in written form and orally.
- Develops automatable extract scripts from financial data source systems, clinical data source systems or data warehouses
- Provides formatted extract files, ad hoc and automated files
- Creates scheduled, automated data extractsDesign and test technical architecture and solutions
- Create and deploy successful creative technology solutions for wider adoption using the latest and best technology.
- The solution delivered will be more detailed than the solution architecture, and will be consistent with the solution design, Platform blueprints and roadmaps, and in compliance with the platform standards.
- Provides overall technical leadership within a structure that is consistently expanding through organization wide system development and departmental utilization of Stratajazz.
- Responsible for development and implementation of information systems disaster recovery plans.
- Ensures the provision of cost-efficient information services and systems. Anticipate developments in the fields of information technology. Write recommendations for management review of enhancements to existing systems through ongoing review.
- Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
- Performs other related duties
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Information Systems with course work in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in building solutions for greater adoption by the user community
- A solutions architect who comes from a development background and is comfortable with all functions and layers of the technology.
- 3 years of Stratajazz implementation experience is highly preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in building budgeting, forecasting, accounting, planning, episode analytics, and productivity solutions
- 5 years of progressive information systems management experience, preferably in the health care field.
- Should have 5+ years’ experience in stakeholder management
- Experience in developing SaaS solutions.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $145,200.00 - $217,875.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
