• Greet members and guests; Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage in a pleasant, professional and friendly manner
• Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Restock as required
• Scratch off TABC stickers from empty bottles and turn in a liquor requisition each shift
• Follow set-up procedures; Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
• Assists with bar and beverage set up in all areas of the Club
• Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager
• Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
• Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times; Request additional supplies as necessary
• Maintain daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
• Clean and lock-up according to prescribed procedures
• Occasionally take and serve food orders
• Report intoxicated members/guests and children asking for alcoholic beverages to supervisor

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience bartending in an up-scale restaurant, hotel or private club
• TABC Certified
• Ability to push, pull or lift at least 50 lbs.
