Advanced Practice Provider - Nephrology

WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Nephrology team in York, Pennsylvania. This full-time position offers the opportunity to care for patients with kidney disease across outpatient dialysis centers and the inpatient setting at York Hospital.

What you can expect at your practice:

• Deliver care to dialysis patients across 3 outpatient locations in the York area
• Participate in inpatient nephrology consults and rounding at York Hospital
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for dialysis patients.
• Manage and adjust dialysis treatments based on patient needs and clinical outcomes.
• Call required (shared among the team), but no weekends or holidays
• Work closely with nephrologists and a multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Monday–Friday daytime schedule

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required 

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required 
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required 
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required
