We're thrilled to welcome an IT support to our team! This flexible, hybrid role offers you the opportunity to provide internal assistance to the IT team, specifically in the areas of desktop support, systems and process documentation, and IT-related projects. Reporting directly to OCMI's Director of Information Systems and Services, the IT Support Summer Intern will be responsible for various duties, including aiding end-users with application installs and upgrades, collecting inventory information, creating IT documentation, collaborating with the IT team on summer projects, and offering end-user support as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT Team with desktop support and projects. 
  • Assist in maintaining Inventory records and documentation. 
  • Perform basic installations and upgrades on endpoints. 
  • Provide access control auditing on systems. 
  • Contribute technical and policy documentation. 
  • Communicate with team and end-users for support and project-related activities. 
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with other IT and data-related duties assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant certifications.
  • Experience working with Windows 10/11 Operating Systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Solid writing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve technical problems. 
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Self-motivated; work well independently and with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation: $17/hour
