THE COMPANY:

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will allow us to create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.

Requirements

As a Soccer Stars Director of Operations, you will have the following responsibilities:

Marketing & Sales Development:

• Keep detailed reports of prospective customers and the status of the lead.
• Establish a monthly business plan to achieve location targets.
• Retain and grow the existing customer base.
• Contribute to positive YOY and month-over-month growth of the program.
• Explore opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, schools, co-ops, community organizations, and city partnerships..
• Increase growth by marketing tactics such as demos, tabling, and promotional events.
• Utilize sales initiatives and marketing collateral to drive enrollments.
• Follow up with unenrolled customers to identify any trends contributing to turnover.

Performance Management:

• Arrange subs for shifts where staff cannot teach their scheduled day/time. Sometimes this means doing it yourself. 
• Coach teams and classes as needed.
• Supervise and assist other coaches during classes.
• Identify coaching needs based on individual class.
• Identify class growth opportunities and client retention opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Coaches in Training.
• Become established as the point of contact for club activities, classes, camps and events.
• Coach or schedule coaches for weekend games and tournament.
• Uphold our service commitment to an appealing learning environment.
• Meet with the General Manager weekly to review the prior week and develop a plan for maintaining and/or increasing interest in the organization.
• Enforce Soccer Stars training standards through session quality and experience reviews.
• Notify General Manager when equipment is damaged or needs to be replaced

Leadership & Team Success:

• Work with the General Manager and schedule regular staff  training sessions based on the needs of the program.
• Provide ongoing support, feedback, and professional development opportunities to staff.
• Ensure trainers are active, energetic, and engaging while following Soccer Stars Training Methodologies.
• Complete Quarterly Reviews with each trainer.
• Assist new coaches and provide exceptional training and onboarding experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Sales background preferred
• Associate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Background working with schools and/or organizations pertaining to childcare.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass state-required criminal background check.

Must have availability Monday- Friday and some Saturdays as needed. Soccer Stars services customers in Rockwall County and Collin County so the ability to travel between locations in required.
