The following position is to join our Raytheon team:

Raytheon - Advance Products Solution (APS) is seeking a Program Manager  to manage programs within the Electronic Warfare Systems Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

This role will collaborate with other program manager staff in setting program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional teams and subcontractors. The PM will integrate the performance of the program’s engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, mission assurance, and program operations teams.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, negotiation, and administration of contracts with the customer.

  • Develop excellent customer relationships and develop corrective actions to mitigate customer identified issues and changes to program scope. 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and listening skills are a must for this position.   Balance organization, customer/program, as well as execution team member priorities and conflicts

  • Maintain focus on customer satisfaction and all business objectives. 

Work Location (Onsite): Goleta, CA

Relocation is not available for this opportunity

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a BA/BS degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Degree Preferred)

  • Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, such as Project Management, Cost Account Manager, and/or Integrated Product Team Lead

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (excel, power point, etc)

  • Experienced people leader to support cross matrix support

  • Experienced track record leading and/or managing program financial metrics (such as Return on Investment (ROI))

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including Government customers, program support and functional support organization

  • Basic understanding of the military operations community and logistics support structures

  • An active and transferrable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
