Position Overview

The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking to hire qualified candidates with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, creative thinking, problem solving environment. This position serves as a PKI Support Desk Specialist performing complex technical and advisory functions relative to the PKI within the framework of established policies and procedures. In this role, you will be a key team member responsible for assisting DoIT customers with acquiring and using Digital IDs, digitally signing documents, digital file encryption, and using digital encryption in secure communications with other users of State of Illinois IT resources. In addition, you will assist with installing the PKI applications necessary to operate within the State of Illinois PKI infrastructure.
