About the Role:
As a Shared Services Analyst in the Close-to-Report team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for leading various accounting functions, including but not limited to consolidations, allocations, eliminations, and equitization. Additionally, you will assist with mergers and acquisitions, support ongoing audit requirements, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounting processes for the accounting close to produce consolidated financial statements.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including ASC-815 MTM adjustments and FX hedging settlements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GAAP accounting standards are followed, particularly during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Perform complex accounting tasks such as reconciliations, analysis, and journal entry preparation.
  • Support ongoing audit requirements, both internal and external.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Mentor and support team members to foster professional development.
  • Maintain compliance with established risk control matrices and accounting principles.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and automations to enhance workflow.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of transactional, functional, and reporting currency.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Accounting Coordinator.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, SAP ECC, and SAP S4Hana ERP systems.
  • Understanding of Shared Services operations is a plus.
  • Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.


The range for this position is  $51,502.00   -  $70,816.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
