Position Overview:
The Associate Director of U.S. Marketing, Atherosclerosis Field Strategy & HCP Engagement is a key leadership role responsible for architecting and operationalizing field engagement strategies that enable bidirectional insights. This position will lead, plan and implement a range of healthcare and professional marketing initiatives ensuring seamless integration across channels to create an exceptional customer experience.
The primary focus of this role is to leverage analytical insights to drive strategic action, implementing training strategies and introducing innovations that enhance field effectiveness while representing customer views and field considerations in the development of strategy and engagement plans. Initially, the emphasis will be on market preparation before launch, followed by the application of key learnings to optimize engagement and maximize brand success through product launch. As a leader within the marketing team, this position will play a crucial role in shaping strategy, fostering collaboration, and driving execution excellence.

This position is a hybrid work model with in-office and remote arrangements and will report to the Director of the Marketing Chapter.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and own customer experience plan for HCPs, leveraging insights to develop end-to-end journey, setting strategic vision with articulated objectives and key results.
Identify and champion key capabilities or innovation needed to achieve customer experience plan and field launch readiness
Drive cross-functional collaboration across CATs to align on integrated customer engagement strategies, partnering closely with RCLs and Sales Teams to ensure cohesive, customer centric execution that drives impact.
Drive alignment between brand strategy and Field Sales to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support needs of customers and to ensure executional excellence
Operationalize launch of field campaigns including, strategic objectives and KPIs, development of training plans and resources, and development and monitoring of key insights
Collaborate with the HHDDA team to structure and integrate field-based insights into the Planning and Insights Engine (PIE), ensuring data-driven decision-making aligns with strategic objectives
Monitor and adjust strategies based on performance metrics, market dynamics, and customer feedback, utilizing regional, local, and national data to refine engagement strategies and maximize impact.
Plan and coordinate brand team engagements with field sales, including national meetings and training sessions.
Collaborate with the Customer Agile Team (CAT) and Sales Leadership in preparation, planning, and ongoing integration related to product promotion and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
Preferred: MBA
Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or a minimum of 4 years of combined strategic U.S. Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing or U.S. Field Sales experience.
Proven project management skills, including prioritizing activities, optimizing resources, establishing deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through experience in strategy and marketing communications.
