Wild Card Creative Group is currently looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our Talent Operations team. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Generalist, will play a pivotal role in tackling HR process improvement across the organization. The Senior HR Generalist is the first point of contact for employees to provide support across a range of different areas including onboarding and offboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, policy and all our HR systems. The ideal candidate is people experience-obsessed, tech-savvy, analytical, and passionate about using technology and data to automate and improve people processes and experiences. This role is hybrid and will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
Job Responsibilities

Manage payroll process for all full time and contingent employees; including staying updated on the latest federal, state, local payroll and wage regulations, accurate data management, timecard validations/corrections, processing time off requests, etc.

Manage all employee benefits programs; including open enrollment, communications, employee inquiries, monthly billing and reconciliation, etc.

Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, conducting new hire orientation, ensuring completion of background checks, new hire paperwork, and hiring actions in HRIS

Manage employee offboarding process ensuring a consistent approach and positive employee experience

Ensure HR data integrity across HR systems by conducting regular data audits to ensure accurate, timely organizational data
- Maintain employees files ensuring accuracy and legal compliance

Manage HR shared inbox and provide timely support to all internal and external inquiries, working alongside HR team to ensure all issues are resolved and escalated if/when necessary

Manage compliance training for all employees; ensuring training and recertification requirements are met for regulatory compliance (sexual harassment, workplace violence, security awareness training, etc)

Maintains, reviews, and updates internal policies, procedures and practices in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Handle HR audits and filings related to EEO-1 reporting, benefits compliance, 401(k), and workers compensation in partnership with Head of HR

Support the full cycle recruiting process, including partnering with hiring managers/internal partners, helping draft and edit job descriptions to ensure clarity and consistency, maintain job description inventory, screening resumes, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, advising on interview best practices, managing negotiations, background checks, etc.

Manage the LOA process, including staying updated on all LOA regulations (state and federal), ensuring correct distribution and filing of leave documents, accurate leave records management, and managing communication with employees and internal partners

Manage all unemployment claims, responding to inquiries in a timely manner

Support the team in the development and documentation of HR processes to ensure consistency and standardization

Identify, recommend, contribute and propose new solutions for process improvements and program development

Proactively collaborate and problem-solve with internal stakeholders to improve HR related programs and administration

Drive employee engagement through culture initiatives and curated events

Manage Summer Intern Program

Provide back up coverage and support for the HR team and additional areas as needed

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Required Skills
-
5+ years of HR experience, working in a fast-paced environment preferably in a creative, production or entertainment industry environment

2+ years payroll experience, preferably experience with ADP Workforce Now
- 2+ years benefits experience; including managing benefit brokers and annual open enrollment

1+ years experience with talent acquisition systems, preferably Greenhouse

Previous experience with HR process improvement strongly p
