Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you’ll support the delivery of robust software product solutions for internal customers. Working closely with members of a cross-functional delivery team, you’ll focus on test case creation and creating and maintaining test automation while reporting qualitative results against established targets. You’ll also be a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for evaluating the tech stack and high-level requirements, and applying testing and development expertise to: 

• Recommend tools and processes to achieve CI/CD before Release 1 goes to production. 
• Design, develop, and refine continuous testing solutions in collaboration with the development and product teams. 
• Establish target test metrics and manage reporting of results. 
• Provide input to the development team on improvements in processes to reduce defects. 

About the team 

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions. 

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software testing 
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD test automation for Node.js, React.js, and Python 
• Experience with Jest, Swagger, and Typescript 
• Experience with one or more of the following tools: Puppeteer, Playwright, and/or Cypress 
• Experience writing test scenarios (positive and negative) on user stories, features, and end-to-end flows 

Preferred Experience

• Terraform with CodePipeline
• Experience with GitHub Action 
• NestJS 
• PrismaORM 
• DORA metrics 
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science 

Additional Information

Washington State base compensation range: $100,000 - 125,000, DOE.
