Delivery Driver

Job Summary

A Micro-Fulfillment Center (MFC) is a facility which uses a combination of Team Members and technology to gather items from an automated grid of product to fulfill Curbside online orders. The facility will house center store products as well as frozen and chilled goods.

Job Description

Our Delivery Drivers ensure that our guests receive their orders accurately, promptly and with a smile.  They are responsible for the accurate, damage-free delivery of guest's curbside orders to store locations for pick-up or directly to guest's homes.

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years

• Experience Desired: Basic knowledge of DOT regulations;  City driving experience    

• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent

• Certification or Licensing Required: Must have no commercial DUI/DWI on record.  Must have no personal DUI/DWI on record within previous 5 years. Must have no reckless driving in the last 5 yrs. or any violations that fall under FMCSA 49.cfr 391.15 Disqualification of drivers.

• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds

• Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50%

• Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Perform alternate duties requested by leadership during down periods.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment.,

• Follow all Company delivery policies and procedures.

• Obey all traffic laws.

• Must maintain a clear driving record.

• Map out daily delivery points and store pickups.

• Load and unload customer totes into delivery vehicle, while accurately staging customer orders.

• Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment.

• Formulate relationships with customers.

• Resolve customer questions and concerns.

• Maintain open lines of communication with Curbside Express staff, Team Leaders and Store Leader.
