The End User Technology Senior Manager, is responsible for overseeing technology roadmap, lifecycle management, service development, and delivery performance of Smith+Nephew's End User Technology services. This role ensures the effective design, delivery, and support of modern digital workplace technologies used by Smith+Nephew employees.
What will you be doing?
Oversee the delivery of IT services throughout the service lifecycle within agreed service levels. Identify service vendors, establish services, and manage vendor performance.
Ensure the availability, reliability, maintainability, outage serviceability, and continuity of the End User Technology platform
Plan, direct, and coordinate the efforts of suppliers’ operations teams to manage and maintain BAU service, program portfolio, and the provision of the Collaboration platform.
Implement and adhere to security standards as set and established collaboratively with Information Security.
Ensure ongoing architectural integrity of the service throughout its lifecycle.
Ensure that all IT Service Management processes, Service Level Agreements, and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets.
Focus on enhancing the digital employee experience by ensuring seamless access to modern digital workplace technologies and tools that support productivity and collaboration.
What will you need to be successful?
Degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent experience
7+ years of IT work experience, with at least 5 years of service and delivery management experience in global and complex environments
Deep understanding of End User Technology Services and Digital Workplace
Communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Modern Digital Workplace concepts and technologies, Zero Trust concept, and Intune/Endpoint Configuration Manager technologies
