This role will help deliver marine monitoring projects throughout England and Wales. The latter supporting our National Resources Wales partnership. You will be responsible for delivery and support on a variety of marine programmes and projects.
You'll perform operational shifts working on Coastal Survey Vessels and RHIBs on the Northwest, Northeast and Southeast coasts. This will include extended periods and weekends working away from your base. When you are not operational on a vessel you will manage data tasks and support projects. Please refer to our additional information document for further details on the role.
The post is based in our Peterborough office, but other EA base locations around the country will be considered, please contact us to discuss. The contract for the post is annualised hours and attracts a 15% shift allowance on top of basic salary.
The successful applicant will be required to pass either a ML5 or ENG1 medical before employment. Failure to pass a medical will prevent the applicant from being employed.
The role requires travelling between locations on a regular basis and as a result requires a full UK driving licence.
