This includes enabling a consistent, secure operating model that meets stringent regulatory and customer requirements while supporting rapid innovation and service delivery.</p> <h1>Role Summary</h1> <p>The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and standardizing network security controls across Managed Services environments, ensuring secure and scalable connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.</p> <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <ul> <li>Design and implement network security architectures across cloud and datacenter environments</li> <li>Lead standardization of firewall platforms and configurations (e.g., Palo Alto)</li> <li>Implement segmentation, zero trust networking, and secure access solutions</li> <li>Support secure connectivity including VPN, remote access, and interconnects</li> <li>Collaborate with network and platform teams to enforce security policies</li> <li>Lead incident response and troubleshooting for network security events</li> <li>Mentor engineers and drive adoption of best practices</li> </ul> <h1>Required Qualifications and Experience</h1> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in network security engineering</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (policy, NAT, VPN, Panorama)</li> <li>Experience with Cisco networking technologies and secure network design</li> <li>Knowledge of cloud network security (AWS, Azure security controls)</li> <li>Experience with segmentation and zero trust architectures</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills</li> <li>Experience in regulated environments preferred</li> <li>Relevant certifications encouraged (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, CISSP)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>About InterSystems</strong></p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">InterSystems, a creative data technology provider, delivers a unified foundation for next-generation applications for healthcare, f
