Starting Salary Range 

• $152,820 - $198,666

AVP, Cybersecurity Operations; Duties & Responsibilities

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the cybersecurity operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation of cybersecurity threats and incidents.
• Threat Management: Manage threat intelligence programs and lead efforts to proactively identify and mitigate emerging cyber threats.
• Vulnerability Management: Implement and oversee vulnerability assessment and management programs to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Security Tool Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools and technologies to enhance SCCU's cybersecurity defenses.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST, FFIEC) and manage cybersecurity risks effectively. Participate in internal and external audits to demonstrate adherence to these standards.
• Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop cybersecurity operations team members, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, business units, and senior management to align cybersecurity initiatives with SCCU's business objectives.

AVP, Cybersecurity Operations; Qualifications

Education and Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.

Prior Experience:

• 10-15 years experience in cybersecurity operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role required. Experience in the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment is highly desirable.

• Standard hours are M – F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional after hours support.
