Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Furnace Operators for projects located in Augusta, GA. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $28-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Start up and shut down plant equipment
- Operate and monitor production processing and material handling systems
- Monitor gauges, charts, flow indicators and computer displays to ensure process stability
- Perform quality control tests on process samples to ensure product consistency and compliance
- Maintain safe working conditions and follow all environmental and safety regulations
- Hand and dispose of hazardous waste safely in collaboration with the environmental department
- Operate and oversee the liquid sodium silicate plant including; batch scheduling, reacting and processing
- Maintain accurate production data and communications
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including; standing, walking and climbing
